Thresholds
2017, 2018, 2019
I remain fascinated with various kinds of thresholds, found in mundane rather than intimate situations. Their unique ability to sustain a space of anticipation and the particular kind of magic that occurs when you can stabilize a contact inside an in between space, is almost a purgator. The threshold is also the entry to a in between time: I am interested in the vulnerability and transitory of spaces pictured in a state of disorder and deterioration, that could be the last chance to capture them.
I am always seeking alternative views that might be found by spying behind a window or through a curtain, offering a narrative about my own places, unnkown places.
